On May 28th, Dr. Faradji, a key member of the Medical Arts Neurology team, participated in the Spanish-language event “Una Vida Sin Memoria: Latinos, Alzheimer y Parkinson” at the Roberto Alonso Community Center in Miami Lakes.

Organized by the Latino Center on Aging (LCA) alongside the Town of Miami Lakes, Elderly Affairs Committee, University of Miami, and the American Legion, the conference brought together professionals, caregivers, and community leaders to address the rising impact of neurodegenerative diseases in the Latino elderly population.

As a dedicated physician in the neurology team in Homestead, Dr. Faradji provided medical insights, responded to concerns from family members and caregivers, and reinforced Medical Arts Neurology’s long-standing commitment to patient-centered education.

His presence helped bridge clinical expertise with cultural sensitivity, opening space for honest conversations and proactive guidance. The event emphasized not only medical facts, but also emotional and community-based support structures.

Attendees benefited from up-to-date information about Alzheimer and Parkinson care strategies and from the opportunity to connect with a compassionate professional committed to building awareness and reducing stigmas.

Medical Arts Neurology—and especially its neurology team in Homestead—values community participation as a core aspect of its practice. Empowering families and reducing barriers in healthcare access remain central to the mission of serving South Florida’s growing Latino population.
