About Dr. Pardo

Dr. Jorge Pardo earned his medical degree from the Colombian School of Medicine in Bogotá, Colombia, in 1987. He specialized in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the National University of Colombia. He served as Director of Rehabilitation Services at Fundación Santa Fe de Bogotá and Assistant Professor of Electromyographic Medicine at the Colombian School of Medicine. He completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Electromyographic Medicine at the University of Washington (Seattle) in 1994. He later completed an internal medicine internship and neurology residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital, where he also pursued a fellowship in Special Immunology and HIV Medicine.

He is board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He has published numerous articles on orthopedic rehabilitation, electromyography, nerve conduction studies, and evoked potentials. He is a member of the American Association of Neuromuscular & Electrodiagnostic Medicine and the American Academy of Neurology.

Dr. Pardo is passionate about patient care and specializes in memory loss, ADHD, Alzheimer’s disease, concussions, Parkinson’s disease, tremors, dizziness, headaches, migraines, gait disturbances, spasticity, neck and back pain, and neuromuscular disorders such as ALS, myasthenia gravis, myopathies, peripheral neuropathy, radiculopathy, carpal tunnel syndrome, and trigeminal neuralgia. He also provides botulinum toxin (Botox) injections for migraines, dystonia, and spasticity. His diagnostic services include EMG, nerve conduction studies, evoked potentials, electronystagmography, skin biopsy for small fiber neuropathy or Parkinson’s, EEG, and carotid ultrasound. He brings both experience and compassion to every patient encounter.
